What We Do
“If you want to make the world a better place,
take a look at yourself, and then make a change.”
No shelter from the cold, no food to eat, our fellow brothers are sleeping on the streets. Sometimes, one simple song is the fire that keeps them warm. HH takes the passion of music into the community to provide that emotional connection that is nourishment to a man’s soul. HH also serves our homeless by providing meals and clothing through contributions made by the community and local merchants. Hosting seasonal events, musicians and supporters unite to supply the unsheltered with basic needs, resources, and most important — compassion.
How We Do It
Meeting people where they are—geographically, philosophically, emotionally—is the essence of outreach to people experiencing homelessness. Rather than expecting people to access services on their own, outreach workers across the country take services to where people are. These outreach workers are often the first and only point of contact for people who might otherwise be disconnected.
How To Help
Contact Horns for the Homeless to volunteer for our outreach events, donate warm clothing or materials, or much-needed financial contributions.
